Kent Little is the President and Chief Operating Officer of The Breeden Company. He is responsible for all operations, profitability, and vision of The Breeden Company subsidiaries and divisions. As a member of the Executive Management Team, he is charged with guiding the company through emerging and new competitive landscapes. Mr. Little’s tenure with The Breeden Company spans over 15 years. He joined the company in 1991 as Executive Vice President. He was responsible for leasing and developing commercial property.
“We have been able to assemble and retain a solid management team. Almost all management has been employed by The Breeden Company for over 15 years,” he says. “When you give the right individuals the resources and the guidance to be successful…the results flow,” he says about maintaining a successful team.
Prior to working with The Breeden Company, Mr. Little was an Executive with Farm Fresh, a regional full service supermarket in Virginia. Starting with Farm Fresh in 1975, he held various positions including Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Real Estate Operations, making him responsible for land acquisitions and development, construction of new stores, asset acquisition and maintenance. He has served on the Board of Directors for Branch Band & Trust (BB&T) and The Governors School for Gifted Children.
Mr. Little holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Old Dominion University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Little lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia with his wife, Annalise. He is an avid boater and fisherman. When not on the water, he takes to the skies and flies his own personal plane.
