Brenda E. Karp is the Vice President of Breeden Realty, the commercial leasing and sales division of The Breeden Company. Her expertise is securing and retaining national, regional and local tenants for regional and neighborhood shopping centers as well as land sales and new business development.

Brenda, an Associate Broker, has more than 25 years of corporate real estate experience including landlord and tenant representation, real estate strategy, site and market analysis, sales forecasting and acquisition/due diligence. She has represented national, regional and local tenants and shopping center owners throughout the state of Virginia. Her career includes positions with Divaris Real Estate, Richfood and Heilig-Meyers Furniture. Brenda joined The Breeden Company in 2008 as the commercial real estate division's Vice President. She is responsible for the successful lease up efforts and outparcel sales at Towne Center West in Henrico, VA.

Brenda is actively involved in business and community organizations, currently serving on the CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Network Foundation Board. She is a past President of CREW Richmond, a member of the VCU Real Estate Circle of Excellence, Greater Richmond Association of Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE) and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Brenda is a Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation supporter and volunteer and has also served on the Board of Directors.

Brenda resides in Richmond, VA with her husband, Fred, and enjoys travelling with family and friends.
