Goodwill to open new store in Parkway Shopping Center
The Breeden Company welcomes Goodwill to its Parkway Shopping Center
Virginia Beach, VA – May 9, 2011 - A new Goodwill retail store will have shoppers drawn for bargains and fashions when it opens its doors in The Breeden Company’s Parkway Shopping Center in Virginia Beach this August. Located at the corner of Lynnhaven Parkway and Princess Anne Road, this will be the 12th Goodwill store in Hampton Roads.
The 23,000+ square foot store in Parkway Shopping Center will include everything from fashions for the whole family, electronics, refurbished computer equipment, toys, books, housewares, furniture, and unique home accents. Store hours will be Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Shortly, Goodwill plans to begin collecting donations at the Parkway location, while renovation of the space is in progress.
“We welcome the new Goodwill prototype to the Breeden portfolio,” said Ramon W. Breeden, Jr., company Founder and Chief Executive Officer. “They have successfully repositioned their brand to meet the demands of the community by offering increased product quality and merchandising that is comparable to a traditional retail store.”
