Breeden Construction, the nationally recognized Richmond-based general contracting firm, today announced the promotion of three associates. Breeden Construction’s focus on people continues to be the vision that drives its culture, and the organization is fortunate to have some of the best and brightest talent.
Jessica Voss has been promoted to Senior Project Manager. She, along with the assigned Project Executive, will oversee the construction of two multifamily developments in central Virginia. Jessica has been a valued Breeden Construction employee since 2018, working most recently as Project Manager at South First Street in Charlottesville, VA. She’s been in the construction industry for eight years. Before joining the construction industry, Jessica practiced maritime and personal injury law. While the legal field was interesting, Jessica’s knack for putting “the puzzle pieces” together were more intriguing to her. Jessica holds a law degree from California Western School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University.
Other company associates promoted are John Coker, Project Executive, and Umer Hasan, Project Manager. John Coker is now responsible for overseeing multiple teams of project managers and field personnel on a variety of third-party projects. His prior experience as a project manager allow him to fully understand all facets of construction from the preconstruction stage through project completion. He serves as the liaison between clients, government agencies, local jurisdictions, and internal Breeden personnel. In his expanded role, Umer will be responsible for negotiating and drafting subcontracts, project schedules, managing project construction costs and risks and maintaining client relationships.
